Chiaramonte Marin Design Studio

ALFREDO CHIARAMONTE was born in Bologna in 1961 and studied at the Faculty of Architecture in Venice, while MARCO MARIN was born in Venice in 1964, where he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts specializing in industrial design. Their shared passion for objects understood as industrial products is what brought them together professionally, as founding partners of their eponymous studio in 1989. Alfredo Chiaramonte and Marco Marin taught for a period at the European Centre for the Preservation of Architectural Heritage in Venice. Over the years, they have also received several awards, and some of their works have been exhibited in permanent collections and international museums, including the Museo Correr in Venice, the Beaubourg in Paris, the MOMA in San Francisco, and La Biennale di Venezia.
