Alpine Meadow
The Alpine Meadow capsule emerges from the collaboration between the architecture studio Rowland+Broughton and NasonMoretti. At the Murano headquarters, the architects explored the company’s vast archive of forms and designs, engaging with models from the 1960s to 2000, some of which had lain dormant for over 80 years, reinterpreting them with a contemporary eye while honouring the artisanal tradition.
Murano’s colours, guided by the duo’s vision, become a personal language through which to express the concept of “home” and evoke the landscapes closest to the architects: the mountains and plains of Colorado, where their studio is based. Shades of green, sky blue, peach, amber, milk white and steel recall blooming alpine meadows, frozen lakes, rugged rocks and snow-capped peaks, while touches of gold capture the delicate shimmer of sunlight on snow. Each piece emerges as a refined detail, a miniature masterpiece of craftsmanship, design and everyday poetry.
