Maria Grazia Rosin

Maria Grazia Rosin was born in Cortina d'Ampezzo. She lives and works in Venice. She trained at the Cortina Institute of Art and, under the guidance of Emilio Vedova, graduated from the Venice Academy of Fine Arts in 1983. In 1992, she began collaborating with master glassblowers in Murano, producing her first glass works. This experience led her to expand the visionary two-dimensional concepts she had explored in her large-scale paintings and embrace the three-dimensional potential offered by glass. Today, glass is at the center of her research and experimentation. Rosin's work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions since 1982, and is part of the permanent collections at the Corning Museum of Glass in New York; Indianapolis Museum of Art; Montreal Museum of Fine Art; Kunst Museum Düsseldorf and Murano Glass Museum.
